Analogous to his work titles, the title of the exhibition reads like a code of capital letters - H.T.L. can have different meanings at first glance. In the context of the solo show, H.T.L. can be decoded with hold the line and directs our attention to something that stands in space, not yet fully tangible, in a vague state of becoming form.

The pictorial motifs are no longer completely detached from any reference to concrete figuration, but question and revolve around it. The line always moves between figuration and abstraction and is in the process of defining surface and space more precisely.
